Doing it with style
This is the menu most requested by visitors to CSSplay. It has been a little while coming but better late than never.
The concertina was developed in England and Germany, probably independently. The English version was invented in 1829 by Sir Charles Wheatstone and a patent for an improved version was filed by him in 1844.
The German version was announced in 1834 by Carl Friedrich Uhlig.

There are several types of concertina, all having the same design of folding bellows with buttons at each end, and from 6 to 12 sides in cross-section.
There are not many concertinas made in England, although Wheatstone are making small numbers. John Connor is also established as an excellent maker.
It is possible to repair all parts of the Concertina and many companies are set up to do just this.

I have had so many requests recently for a 'concertina' type horizontal menu for various pieces of information and further sub menus that I decided to put up this solution.
I have not posted anything new in a little while now, mainly because I have been so busy with web design and assistance since becoming self employed, but I will try to find more time in the future even if it means working longer hours.
This has been tested in IE6, IE7 as well as Firefox, Opera, Safari(PC). and does NOT use javascript.
I will be testing in IE8 once it becomes an official release, but I see no reason why this should not be upwards comaptible.
