Welcome to my Comments Pages

Please note. I get a few hundred emails a week from visitors asking for help, or posing questions on how to modify my demos to suit their application and I read them all. Unfortunately I only have a limited amount of time to spend answering these questions.

So if I do not reply, please do not be offended, and if I do reply then you are one of the lucky ones.

If you are asking for permission to use any of my demonstration then please email me with your request stu{at}cssplay.co.uk.

I'm creating a site for school , with css , php and html but can i drop this menu in my css document or do I have to do something special with it?

Stu:-
stefan, just copy the html to your page and either copy the css to a separate file and link to it in the normal way, or copy it to an embeded css in the <head> </head> of the page.

Stu, I love Menu-2 - simple and elegant. I adapted it to php by copying both the html and scc to separate files but with a php suffix and an include call in the page template. I then put the page template (also php) in a blank index.html file. doing this I can make all modifications to outside files and the changes ar reflected on all pages immediately.

I do have one question. If I want to make the height of the individual menu box smaller, to allow more menu choices, can this be done, and if so, how?

Stu:-
Mike, the height of each tab can be controlled by the font-size and the line-height.

Mike Franklin:-
Thanks Stu. I found my answer by going back to CSS defs. I had been looking in PHP. I forgot momentarily (must be an age thing).
