Welcome to my Comments Pages

Please note. I get a few hundred emails a week from visitors asking for help, or posing questions on how to modify my demos to suit their application and I read them all. Unfortunately I only have a limited amount of time to spend answering these questions.

So if I do not reply, please do not be offended, and if I do reply then you are one of the lucky ones.

If you are asking for permission to use any of my demonstration then please email me with your request stu{at}cssplay.co.uk.

i did something *like* this, only for google site-flavored. its a bit more cleaner in my opinion and works kinda the same as adsense. check it out at https://dev-news.com/validating-google-site-flavored/

Drew, this is for Google search and is pretty much the same as my search alterations on the HOME page to keep it valid xhtml1.1

It seems to be a violation of adsense rules changing the code, what is your opinion about that?
(06.10.2005, 18:30)

Stu:-
Harry, I have not CHANGED any code, I have just placed it within the object tag. Google have said that this is allowed.

Hi Stu,
When I set a width on the object either in the HTML or CSS I get only Public Service Ads. If I remove the width, I get normal ads (although I also get an ugly scrollbar).

John:-
Sorry, posted too soon. Appears to be a problem caused by Adblock on FF1.5 because ads appear to be working OK in other browsers. It's weird though because if I disable Adblock, I still only get PSAs and if I remove the width, I get normal ads :/
