CSS MENUSAnother neon menu

Date : 25th May 2007

For all modern browsers

Information

A vertical set of neon lights using a slightly modified graphic to my previous example. As with my previous example this menu is based on one of my very early websites that was made using 'Mambo'. This was a very graphic orientated site that made heavy use of javascript rollovers.

So I have taken the graphics from the menu I used and converted it to a CSS only version. Again. the graphics are all mine, so if you wish to use them you have my permission.

This menu uses two images rather than one combined image as this can cause problems in Safari. The markup just uses a <b> tag to hold the link text and produce the sliding doors effect.

The two images are shown below.

The 'OFF' neon
OFF neon

The 'ON' neon
ON neon

You may use this method on your personal 'non-profit' web site without seeking my permission.
A link back to CSS PLAY is always appreciated.

Commercial usage is also permitted without seeking approval, but I would ask that a donation is considered to support my work on CSS PLAY.

If you are having problems integrating any of my demonstrations into your website then I now offer a service to fault find and correct any errors that you may have introduced.
Please email me for more information.
