Doing it with style
Although my original slide down menu at css3 slide worked when viewed on the Safari Mobile browser as used on the iPhone etc., an open menu could not be closed without 'tapping' another link.
So I have produced this follow up version which is styled to cater for this particular browser.
If you are using a PC or Mac browser then the above menu will be a single level slide down menu with a down arrow to indicate which top level items have a dropdown sub menu.
If you are using an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch then when 'tapping' the top level link containing a down arrow, the sub menu will show and the down arrow will change to an up arrow to indicate that a 'tap' on this will close that sub menu. Also tapping any other top level link will close this sub menu.
Because the sub menu is opened by hovering (or tapping - iPhone) the down arrow ONLY, the actual tab text can be a link to another page.
Tested and working in IE7+, Firefox, Safari, Opera, Chrome, Flock, SeaMonkey, iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.
Because of all the time and effort spent in producing this demonstration I would ask that you respect my copyright.
