Doing it with style
Converting the previous menu from a drop list to a flyout list and again with several other features for Firefox, Opera, Chrome and Safari.
For the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch the menu will work by tapping the top level tabs but the flyout lists will stay open until another link is tapped, so this one has a 'close' icon which appears at the top right of each flyout list. Tapping this icon will close the currently open list.
If you are using Firefox 4 beta, Opera, Safari or Chrome you will notice that there is a slight delay in opening the flyout list to stop accidental hovering of the top level links. The flyout list frame will slide out from the left and once fully expanded then the content will drop down from the top into the frame columns. All the timing for this is done using only CSS. When hovering another top level link the cuurently open list will retract completely before the new list slides into view.
All browsers except IE will have rounded corners on the droplists and the top level links.
Internet Explorer and Firefox 3.x will have an instant display of the flyout lists.
Tested and working in IE6, IE7, IE8, IE9, Firefox, Safari, Opera, Chrome, Flock, SeaMonkey, iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.
