Doing it with style
The seventh in the 'unusual' series.
Another development in the 'fisheye' series and this time it adds the ability to use png images in IE6 and still have the zoom feature. In fact this method gives an improved graphic appearance in IE6 when the image is applied using the AlphaImageLoader filter.
It does require an extra image and some additiomal markup but it is still very simple styling to achieve such an effect.
Works in IE6, IE7, IE8, Firefox, Opera, Safari(PC) and Google Chrome.
You may use this method on your personal 'non-profit' web site without seeking my permission.
