Doing it with style
This menu is suitable for all the latest browsers and operating systems and can be used on touch screens, tablets and smartphones as well as PCs and Macs.
It uses a full screen overlay with the vertical top level items staying centered on the screen at any browser window sizing.
Hover the top level items to see if they are links (small underline) or have sub menus (down arrow).
The sub menus are opened and closed by clicking/tapping the parent level items, and have a slide down/up action all done using just CSS. The menu will try to stay centered when a sub menu is visible but if this is too tall for the screen then scrolling will be available.
An open sub menu can be closed by either clicking/tapping another top level with a sub menu or by re-clicking/tapping the same top level item.
The font size will adjust itself when the menu is shown on tablets and smartphones.
