Information

...and another menu where the dropdown lists are as wide as required to fit the content without having to specify the width. This one is for use where space is limited and you have many (7 in this demo) sub menu lists. The sub menus can be simply styled to flyout to the left or right to ensure that the menu stays within the linits of the width available. The first dropdown level can also be styled to be left or right aligned with the top level list.

Most of the styling is for IE6 to show and hide the sub menus, and to style their background colors.

This menu has been tested and works in IE5.5, IE6, IE7, IE8, Firefox, Opera, Safari(PC) and Google Chrome.

I have now downloaded IE8, as this is the final release, and this menu works correctly without the need for IE7 emulation mode (which I have removed from this page head).
