CSS MENUSExperimental - Sliding menu

Date : 27th August 2009

For all modern browsers

Information

Purely an experiment to see if it was possible to have an animated sliding menu using just CSS.

This is probably not for everyday use as it is very time consuming to set up and get working correctly in all browsers. The styling looks very simple but it does require a lot of calculations and the use of correctly sized images to work.

Tested in IE6, IE7, IE8, Firefox, Opera, Safari(PC) and Google Chrome.
