CSS MENUS Professional variable width dropdown menu #5
Date : 17th October 2008
For all modern browsers
This demo is too wide for your mobile screen.
Please view on a tablet or PC.
The last in this series (for a while). This one goes one step further by using another expression to insert the 'iframe shim' into the menu AND working out the size required depending on the width and height of the sub menu <ul>. This fix allows the menu to drop over select boxes when using IE6.
Again, just a set of unordered nested lists is used for the menu. Not a conditional comment or iframe visible in the source code.
This menu has been tested and works in IE6, IE7, Firefox, Opera, Safari(PC) and Google Chrome.
