Doing it with style
NOTE: Magic Menus #4 and #5 have been removed as these required too much javascript.
Just to show that it is possible to expand the other menus in this series I have revamped the previous menu, which required javascript, so that it now uses the same method as menu #3. This now uses just CSS, no conditional comments, no behaviors, no hidden .htc file and no javascript. The only downside is that it doesn't validate because of the use of the MS proprietary 'comment' tag. This tag is used purely for IE5.5 and IE6 to work.
Tested in IE5.5 (requires hacks for the faulty box model), IE6, IE7, Firefox, Opera, Netscape, Mozilla and Safari (PC).
