Doing it with style
No javascript, no hacks, no expressions, no conditional comments just CSS and XHTML.
Another menu that uses the 'float drop' principle to produce a dropdown menu that works in all browsers without the need for javascript, hacks, conditional comments, tables or expressions. It does make use of Microsoft filters to fix the png images so that they work in IE6 but this is not absolutely necessary if you are using gifs or jpeg images. I have also added popup tootltips to indicate the icon functions but these can be omitted if not required.
As with all the float/drop menus, tabbing also works in those browsers that support this.
Tested in IE5.5, IE6, IE7, IE8, IE9, Firefox, Opera, Safari, Chrome, Flock, SeaMonkey, iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. It should also work in Mac browsers.
