Doing it with style

CSS MENUSAn enlarging unordered list mk.II

Date : 5th August 2007

For all modern browsers

This demo is too wide for your mobile screen.
Please view on a tablet or PC.

Another enlarging menu but this one uses opacity for browsers that understand, and a separate style for IE6 using 'filters' to create the background shadow. The image has been purchased from so please do not copy without permission.

Again this is just a css styled unordered list using no images that will degrade well for text only browsers.

If you test this page at for CSS validation you will find that it fails because opacity is not yet included in the checks.
