Doing it with style
It has been a while since I looked at the styling for the flyout menu, and with the knowledge gained over the last few months I can now reveal the much simplified styling for the basic menu with the addition of an extra sub level.
If you look at the CSS, which is embeded in this page, you will see that it is almost non existent. The styling for IE and non-IE browsers has been combined and there is no difference between the two. This method can also be applied to all my previous flyout demonstrations.
However, the style should be modified with care as it does cover all browser with not a hack in sight for IE. Any changes should be tested on all available browsers.
This works in IE5.5, IE6, IE7, Firefox, Opera, Mozilla and Netscape. Feedback from Mac users would be nice, though I suspect it will not work on Mac-IE.

Updated to add highlighted drop down links so that you can see the path followed. This now works in IE7 although it did require a hack to make this browser comply. I am a little surprised that this is necessary and am looking for the reason why.
Because of all the time and effort spent in producing this demonstration I would ask that you respect my copyright.
