One more click action menu to rival the jQuery versions, with no jump to the top of browser window.
Click any of the five vertical tabs to close the currently open section and slide open the new section. There will also be a slide down panel for each section.
The information panels can contain any code you like, for example, simple text, links, forms and videos videos.
Once a section is open it will stay open even when clicking elsewhere on the page.
The open/close and information panels will be animated in Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Opera but in IE9 it will be an instant action.
As with the previous example it would be possible to use a small jQuery routine to remove the back button 'history' of selected menu section in Firefox, Chrome and Safari.
With this method it is also possible to have a specific section open on page entry. Try this link to see the BIRDS section open on page entry.
