Doing it with style
For IE7+, Firefox, Opera, Safari, Chrome, iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch, IE10 Touch Screen and Android OS Touch Screen
A droplist menu that works on touch screen devices including the iPad, IE10 and Android OS browsers.
This uses top level 'parent' links that they are used to open sub menus and also take you to other linked pages.
On the iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch, IE10 touch screen and Android OS touch screen browsers just tap the top level 'parent link' to open the sub menu, the parent link then becomes underlined to show that it is a link. Tapping this 'parent link' again will take you to the link page.
All other non touch screen browsers will work in the normal way when hovering the links.
There is animation, fade in/out and expand down on the sub menus, curved corners and drop shadows for those browsers that support these styles.
