Doing it with style
Now that Firefox supports 3D transforms we can move on to using this in menus to give a twist on the usual dropdown or slide down menus.
This menu has 3D flip down sub lists with animation. Just hover the top level links to see this in Firefox, Safari and Chrome.
If you click this link to the Mozilla Developer Network (MDN) you will find a download link and also a 'like' button.

The bug in Firefox has been found. This is to do with using a 90 degree rotation of the flip down sub menus. I think that there is a bug in the way Firefox calculates this angle. I have reduced it to 80 degrees for Firefox and this appears to work.

Restyled to work in IE10. Also now works on the iPad etc. and has fallback styling to work as a basic dropdown menu in IE9 and lower and Opera which does not yet support 3D styles.
