Doing it with style
This one is probably the most complex menu on CSS play and has taken months to perfect so that it works in all the major browsers including IE6, IE7 and IE8.
All the menu levels are centered beneath the parent level list items. The top level is centered on the page without the need for display:table; or negative margins and should also work in Mac browsers.
The dropline is centered beneath its list item and now has a hover background image that works in IE6.
There is also a further dropdown menu from the dropline which is centered about the dropline list item and this dropdown has centered text and an opaque background color using css opacity.
This menu has been tested and works in IE6, IE7, IE8, Firefox, Opera, Safari (PC) and Google Chrome.
Please note that because this menu is so complex, it should be modified with care, testing any changes in all browsers before making further changes.
