CSS DEMOSA Scrolling Photograph Gallery

Date : Pre 2004

For all modern browsers

This demo is too wide for your mobile screen.
Please view on a tablet or PC.

Information

Just another simple :hover over thumbnail images to give a full size view of each photograph. Works in IE6, Mozilla and Firefox (latest versions) and you can also click the thumbnails to retain the image on the screen. Text can be added at the bottom of each picture.

This version is based on my previous gallery demo but allows you to add as many thumbnails as you like. Just make the 'thumbs' div as wide as necessary to hold all the thumbnails in a single line.

Updated 17th September 2004

By popular demand I have changed this demonstration to show another five thumbnails with a wider scroll window and a default image.

Updated 15th March 2005

I have just discovered that if you use <a href="#nogo"> or any name that doesn't exist (instead of <a href="#">) then the link doesn't jump to the top of the page, which can be annoying at times..

Updated 23rd November 2005

Firefox v1.5 has a problem with the default image so this is now removed.

Updated 6th December 2005

Default image now back in place and working with Firefox v1.5.

Updated 26th September 2006

Now works in IE7.

Updated 15th May 2009

Now works in IE8.

Updated 11th March 2011

Now works in Safari, Chrome and Opera.
