Information

I was recently asked if I would like to submit a few demos for the Mozilla Developer Network current challenge for CSS3 animation as Mozilla Firefox v5 will be supporting keyframe animation. This prompted me to produce a cople of demos that can be seen here - Zoom to infinity and here - Auto-run photo album. These demos can be seen in Safari, Chrome and now Firefox 5 and are available as downloads under GPL.
Your vote for these demos would be appreciated.

I have also been investigating the possiblilty of using keyframes to animate a photo gallery, and the results can be seen above. This uses the little known style 'animation-fill-mode: forwards;' which stops the keyframe animation at 100% without a reset to the 0% state.

So click the thumbnails to see 10 different ways to animate the large image. By using keyframes there are endless animation possibilities. All we need to do now is wait for Opera and IE to support these styles.

Firefox 5 will see a 'bounce' on the first four animations, but Safari and Chrome cannot quite get this right when used with 'animation-fill-mode', so I have this as a simple slide for these two browsers.

9th January 2013 - Now working correctly in all the latest browsers.
