Descriptive text and maybe a link.
The text can be over as many lines as you want, but you may need to adjust the size of the containing div to make sure that it can all be seen. The link can be used if you want.

Probably the last in this series of photo galleries where the clicked image will stay on screen no matter what else you do. This one has the added feature of a left/right sliding set of thumbnails across the top of the gallery. Clicking the left or right arrow will shift the thumbnails in the chosen direction. The photgraphs and their associated text will stay in place no matter where else you click or scroll the page. You can even refresh the page and the same image will be reloaded (non IE browsers).
As with the previous gallery this does not work in Opera, not even the latest version, but it does work in IE5.5, IE6, IE7, IE8, Firefox, Safari(PC) and Google Chrome.
It would be nice if Opera could get this working in their next release especially as IE5.5 can manage it.
All the photographs in this gallery have either been purchased from dreamstime for use on CSS play or have been obtained from the stock.xchng. These are copyright the various photographers and should not be copied without their permission.
27th June 2010 - This now works in the latest version of Opera.
Because of all the time and effort spent in producing this demonstration I would ask that you respect my copyright.
