Doing it with style
Again, after many requests to produce a full screen slide show with permanent image changes and to rival those produced using javascript/jQuery, I have produce 'The BIG Slide'.
Because the image file sizes are large this slideshow only loads the images as required, so the first time an image is selected then it will take a second or two to show, but when reselecting the same image it will be held in the browser cache and show in an instant.
Firefox allows transitions on content added using :before and :after so will see a fade in/out of the large images.
There are several ways to navigate the images, firstly you can use the previous and next arrows at the left and right of the screen, secondly you can click the row of buttons in the bar at the bottom of the screen, and thirdly you can click the 'UP' arrow at the bottom right of the screen to slide up the thumbnail and then click the thumbnail images and slide down the panel by clicking the 'DOWN' arrow.
The large image can be sized to fit the width of the screen and be centered vertically or sized to always fit the browser window.
Safari Mobile browser users can navigate by using the left/right arrows and the thumbanil images.
Because of all the time and effort spent in producing this demonstration I would ask that you respect my copyright.
