Doing it with style
Building on my previous example of a simple slideshow, this one takes it a step further and it becomes a multi-tabbed slideshow.
The addition of the four tabs allows you to add up to 72 more photos making a total of 96 possible separate images. As you can see from this demonstration you do not have to populate all the possible positions, the styling can cope with any number from 1 to 24 on each tabbed page.
As with the previous example there is also the option to have a few lines of descriptive text which will appear beneath the thumbnails.
There are just two images used in the presentation which are:
The main background image.
The 'selected' arrow image.
This is known to work in IE6, IE7, Firefox, Netscape 8 with IE rendering and Opera (hold down the mouse button to see full size image).
Just to make it a little different I have use a couple of lines of php to choose a random default image each time the page is reloaded.
Because of all the time and effort spent in producing this demonstration I would ask that you respect my copyright.
