CSSplay COMMENTS

Welcome to my Comments Pages

Please note. I get a few hundred emails a week from visitors asking for help, or posing questions on how to modify my demos to suit their application and I read them all. Unfortunately I only have a limited amount of time to spend answering these questions.

So if I do not reply, please do not be offended, and if I do reply then you are one of the lucky ones.

If you are asking for permission to use any of my demonstration then please email me with your request stu{at}cssplay.co.uk.

I liked your css tutorial for imagemaps. A pity that it works only with rectangular areas. Wished I found something similar with polygons where link text appears below the image when the hotspot is hovered. On guttempler.de I use a map of the German federal states and needed js to change the pics...

I wonder if CSS3 offers possibilities for a sleek looking form on a website.

Am highly impressed with your responsive multi level menus. However for some reason neither of them seem to be working with the stock browser on the Android S2. Will double check on some other units but I just wanted to bring it to your attention. If I can get it to work I will definitely be buying.

The stock Android browser does not support the styles used in these menus. In fact it does not support many CSS3 styles. I am not sure why Google still ship this browser with Android devices. Chrome is a much better browser and support all the latest styles.

Great site!

I am trying to make an image menu with image maps with the following requirements:
* Horizontal menu with thumbnail images as menu tabs.
* when thumbnail clicked- opens/magnifies the image in the same window
* and Magnified image has image maps which opens the links.

Let me know if it is possible :)
Thanks for your help

Stu,

Why not make a demo displaying the basic graphic capability of CSS. 2D shapes? Basic bevels or and blocks. Or something like this. The simplicity of border colors and shades.
